DOJ’s antitrust case against Google may not go to trial until 2023

This is one of three antitrust lawsuits Google is currently facing in the United States. The DOJ and 11 states filed a lawsuit against Google in October. The other two emerged this week. One is led by Texas and has the support of nine other attorneys general. he focuses on the company’s advertising technology.

A group of 38 attorneys general filed the other lawsuit. It is similar to the DOJ case in that it accuses Google of maintaining its dominant position in the search and search advertising market through anti-competitive behavior. In his response, the company said the redesign of Google search “would hurt American consumers and businesses.”
