Despite all the controversial surrounding the last track of CD Projekt Red, Cyberpunk 2077 is a success. In one disclosure spotted by the analyst Daniel Ahmad |, the studio said it had sold around 13 million copies of the game as of December 20. The estimate takes into account sales across all platforms, including the PlayStation Network where you can’t buy the game, the more than 8 million pre-orders accumulated before the release, as well as the refunds processed by the two physical and digital retailers.
CD Projekt Red claims to have sold 13 million copies of Cyberpunk through digital and physical distribution channels as of December 20.
This number takes into account refunds processed by this point in both retail / digital.

With 13 million units sold, Cyberpunk 2077 generated roughly over $ 780 million in revenue in its first 10 days of uptime. This puts the game in an exclusive society. Rock stars Red Dead Redemption 2 made $ 725 million during its first uptime weekend. As another example, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare grossed $ 600 million in its first three days.
