Despite several COVID-linked backhand, injuries and refoundings, season 2 of Netflix’s The Witcher is back in full swing. On Netflix’s official The Witcher site, this was a multi-day celebration of the series, invoking the “law of surprise” regarding what the team is revealing. The latest broadcast is for a script page for the upcoming season, a page now public for those interested.
The script below shares some slight spoilers for those wanting to get into the new season completely blind, but nothing major for anyone curious to see what this looks like:
Text too small? The Netflix team also shared the script page (from an official account) on Reddit as well, seen here.
As for the show itself, Netflix shared the official synopsis for the new season earlier. this year, saying:
Convinced that Yennefer’s life was lost at the Battle of Sodden, Geralt of Rivia takes Princess Cirilla to the safest place he knows, his childhood home of Kaer Morhen. As the kings, elves, humans and demons of the continent yearn for supremacy outside its walls, he must protect the girl from something far more dangerous: the mysterious power she possesses within.
Considering the success of the first season for Netflix and the fact that showrunner Lauren Hissrich mentioned that fan feedback played a critical role in the upcoming season (as shown in essential redesign), season two is poised to be an epic continuation of Geralt’s story, albeit much darker than that of the first season.
