Explosions and gunshots were heard after the arrival of a plane carrying the new Yemeni government of Saudi Arabia.
Explosions and gunshots were heard at Aden airport shortly after the arrival of a plane carrying the newly formed Yemeni government from Saudi Arabia on Wednesday, witnesses said.
Members of the cabinet, including Prime Minister Maeen Abdulmalik, have been safely transferred to the city’s presidential palace, witnesses and Saudi media said.

Security sources told Reuters news agency that at least five people were dead and dozens more injured in the attack.
An AFP correspondent at the scene said he heard two explosions. “At least two explosions were heard as members of the cabinet left the plane,” the correspondent said.
