The Washington football team has it all against the Eagles in Week 17 Sunday Night Football.

With a win or a tie, Washington (6-9) clinches the NFC East and a playoff berth. One loss, and the Giants will be the worst division in the NFL in the playoffs.

It would be a regular-season ending storybook for Alex Smith, who was cleared to start Week 17 after sustaining a calf injury against the 49ers in Week 14. Smith, possibly the returning player from the NFL of the season after spending two years recovering from a horrific leg injury, could lock in the prize by hitting Washington’s playoff ticket with a win.

That being said, don’t expect the Eagles (4-10-1) to turn around. Even though they were eliminated from the playoffs after last week’s loss to the Cowboys, they still play for pride. Rookie QB Jalen Hurts is also making his final audition to be the starting QB on Carson Wentz.
