Tributes are piling up for Frank Arok after the death of the former Socceroos coach on Tuesday night at the age of 88.
Arok led the Socceroos in 89 internationals and one of the highlights of his career was overseeing the national team at the 1988 Olympics in Seoul.
His death, which came just eight days before his 89th birthday, was announced on the official Socceroos Twitter account.
Former Socceroos Robbie Slater and Mark Schwarzer were among the countless Australian football personalities who took to social media to congratulate the man and coach Arok was.
Many journalists also paid tribute to Arok.
