CD Projekt Red will be released Cyberpunk 2077of Free update to the next-gen console in the second half of 2021, the studio announced today. “We’re aiming for the second half of the year and we’ll reveal more when we have more to share,” CD Projekt Red said in a game status update. That same post also includes a lengthy video apology from studio co-founder Marcin Iwinski.
In the meantime, the company will publish Cyberpunk 2077 first major patch in the next ten days. Patch # 1, as the studio has grown accustomed to calling it, is the first of two major updates that will fix the game’s issues on the latest-gen consoles. Studio Patch # 2, which he says is a bigger and more meaningful update, will follow in February. “Our plans to support Cyberpunk 2077 long term are unchanged, and we will continue to introduce updates and fixes to give all players on all consoles and PC a better gaming experience, ”the team added.
