Game publisher Activision integrates one of its oldest support studios with Blizzard. On Friday, the company said GamesIndustry.biz all 200 members of the Vicarious Visions team are now Blizzard employees. And in the future, they will be “fully dedicated to existing Blizzard games and initiatives.” It means Vicarious Visions, who worked on the excellent Tony Hawk 1 + 2 Professional Skater remaster, will no longer create its own games. Instead, it will help Blizzard with projects like Overwatch and World of warcraft.
“After working with Vicarious Visions for a while and developing a great relationship, Blizzard realized there was an opportunity to [the studio] to provide long-term support, ”an Acitivison spokesperson told the publication.
