Must read

Super Nintendo World in Osaka will open on March 18, Nintendo revealed. The opening of the park has been delayed numerous times due to the impact of COVID-19, but a Japanese official Nintendo account tweet snapped the revised launch date, which is later this month.

The park was originally revealed in 2015 and its grand opening was originally scheduled for summer 2020, as revealed alongside a music video featuring a new song by Charli XCX and Galantis. Shigeru Miyamoto organized a Nintendo Direct special in December 2020 by visiting the fully built park, highlighting attractions such as the Mario Kart ride. Last week, the opening of Orlando variant of Super Nintendo World park has been postponed to 2025 after economic uncertainty caused delays in building the park – the Hollywood and Signapore versions of the park are also on their way. Elsewhere, Nintendo is collaborating with Illumination on a Super Mario Bros. animated film, which is whose launch is scheduled for 2022.
