A new Nintendo Switch controller from Animal Crossing will be released later next week and will bring with it the iconic Nook aesthetic for longtime simulator franchise lovers.

The new controller is a third-party device from PowerA and is a wireless gamepad that works on both standard Switch and Switch Lite platforms. It has two mappable advanced game buttons and built-in anti-friction rings for better thumb control. The controller also has Bluetooth 5.0 technology and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that promises up to 30 hours of charging, as well as specific ergonomics designed with comfort in mind:
