Must read

Considered one of the greatest players to have played the game, Cristiano Ronaldo has enjoyed tremendous success with various major clubs.

The Portugal international has played for Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus, and has proven to be each club’s most important player.

In 2015 Cristiano Ronaldo was invited to nominate 5 footballers who could continue to lead successful careers at the highest level.

The striker has named Norway’s Martin Odegaard, Dutchman Memphis Depay, Belgian Eden Hazard, Frenchman Paul Pogba and Brazilian Neymar.

“You see a lot of players with potential, I’ll quote Odegaard from Madrid for example. Hazard for example, Manchester No.7 Depay is a good player too. Pogba … and maybe Neymar.”

Cristiano Ronaldo is considered by many to be the greatest player to ever play the game.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s picks have all been successful, but have been inconsistent

All of Cristiano Ronaldo’s choices have changed clubs since his declaration. Eden Hazard is at Real Madrid, Martin Odegaard is at Arsenal, on loan from Real Madrid, Paul pogba is at Manchester United, Memphis Depay is in Lyon and Neymar works for Paris Saint-Germain.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who played for Real Madrid in 2015, is now at Juventus. He joined the Serie A giants in 2018 for a record € 100million.

Odegaard, who joined Real Madrid in 2015 and played alongside Cristiano Ronaldo for a little while, is on a good loan at Arsenal. The Norway international impressed with his performances.

Eden Hazard was signed by Real Madrid to replace Cristiano Ronaldo, but the Belgium international suffered injuries. As a result, Los Blancos fans have yet to see the Hazard who played for Chelsea.

Paul Pogba is an important player for France, but his time at Manchester United has divided opinions. He’s been linked with a move for some time now.

Memphis Depay, often compared to Cristiano Ronaldo, is Lyon’s most important player. His contract expires this summer and Barcelona would like to sign him.

Neymar, who is the world’s most expensive soccer player, continues to be a key player for Paris Saint-Germain. The Brazil international has formed a formidable attacking partnership with Kylian Mbappe.
