Get a hit before they hit you in Knockout City

Knockout City

Above Knockout City, a single voice recounts the epic dodge battles that unfold below. After all, when you’re a radio DJ emitting from the moon, you need a really good show. And what better place to find it than KO City?

You need to understand that dodging is a basic matter: throwing, catching, passing, dodging and tackling. Learn them and you can face any opponent. If you want to be the best, you have to put your skills to the test.

Catch other brawlers with surprise knockouts as you curve your shot or fake a toss. In the heat of the moment, screen border indicators alert you when you are targeted by other Brawlers. Be careful and keep your reflexes sharp! It’s a timing game and it’s a good time for everyone.

Of course, you’ll need a crew to watch your back. It’s hard to go it alone in these streets… and on rooftops… and in construction sites… and alleys. The point is, don’t get caught on your own. With a crew behind you, taking on rivals becomes much easier. (Plus, up to 32 Brawlers can be part of the same crew, so no one is left behind!) Represent your team with special cosmetic upgrades like team logos, vehicles and more.

Did you understand your crew? Well. It’s time to queue up playlists.

Knockout City

Of course you have the 3v3 standard, but the rules Knockout City change as fast as that ball flying towards you. New Face-Off mode puts you one-on-one in a closing circle of danger – no crew to bail you out or steal your glory. Whenever you hit an opponent in Diamond Dash, they drop Sparkling Gems that you can collect. And in Ball-Up Brawl? There isn’t a single bullet on the map, just you, your crew, and your rivals. You know what to do, right? To become the ball!

Speaking of balls… you will need them! We have regular hunting balls in abundance, but it’s the special balls that have really hit home. Bounce your opponents in the stratosphere with a Moon Ball; detonate them with a bomb bullet; take them out on the other side of the map with a sniper bullet; or trap them with a caged ball to throw them at their own teammates. The ultimate bullet, however? It’s you. Throwing yourself into the ball is risky – rivals may seek you out and throw you off the map – but what if your teammate prepares you for an ultimate throw? This explosion can knock out an entire crew. Now it is a bop.

Knockout City

Tune in and get ready, brawlers. Soon you’ll be playing your own matches, and we’ll be watching.

Knockout City will launch on Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S May 21, 2021. By then you can catch the multiplatform beta from April 2 to April 4.
