Godzilla vs. Kong invades World of Warships with new update

the Godzilla vs. Kong The movie is out now, and Warner Bros. Pictures celebrates by teaming up with Wargaming to bring the film universe to World of Warships with a new update.

While Godzilla and King Kong are not Actually coming to World of Warships (at least, not in the way you might think), their influence can certainly be felt. The two iconic staples from the film will be featured in the ships below for a limited time only alongside playable Commanders. On the theme of cinema patches, camouflages, flags and more can also be seen in another film crossover which debuts in May.

Representing Team Godzilla, clad in blue and weighing 41,217 tons, is the Japanese battleship Eggs. Representing Team Kong and weighing 37,484 tons is the USS North Carolina, battleship for Kong lovers. For console gamers, World of Warship: Legends players who choose Godzilla will have a unique battleship named Heat ray while Kong fans will have a big reward in Primitive, a battleship representing the power of the creature.

“Almost 60 years ago, King Kong and Godzilla first faced off on the big screen in Japan, and since then the rivalry of these mythical creatures has captured the imaginations of millions around the world,” Wargaming Senior Producer Aleksandr Nikolaev said. . “World of Warships is always on the lookout for new and exciting content that our players would enjoy and we are excited to share with them our take on this clash of legendary titans.”

“Wargaming is the perfect partner to allow fans to jump in on the action and be part of the long-awaited showdown between these two massive titans, ”said Sam Rappaport, director of interactive media at Legendary Entertainment. “Through this collaboration, fans will be able to experience the immense size and scale of the film through this epic clash between battleships Team Godzilla and Team Kong.”
