NRL investigates Gold Coast Titans for biosecurity breach in Sydney



The Titans of the Gold Coast have become the last club to be investigated for biosecurity violations, after Captain Kevin Proctor, we saw the poker machines playing Thursday without a mask.

Justin Holbrook’s men are currently in Sydney ahead of Saturday’s clash with Canberra at Kogarah Oval after being forced out of Queensland.

Proctor played poker machines for a number of hours at the Locker Room Bar near Sydney Olympic Park, according to News Corp. NRL COVID-19 Protocols.

Gold Coast released a statement Friday.

“The club are aware of reports that players were at a site without a face mask,” it read.

“The matter has been referred to the NRL.”

It comes just days after Eels’ center Tigers James Roberts and Will Smith were seen fighting Tim Tszyu on Wednesday without wearing masks.
