Director’s Cup gives Vault Hunters the chance to face off against the Invincible Hemovorous, an all-new raid boss. You’ll have the help of familiar faces during this new series of story missions, and score loot in the process! Expert tip: keep a close eye on your surroundings. You may come across clues that connect the center Borderlands 3 scenario…

Not only will you fight a gargantuan new raid boss and solve spooky murders, Director’s Cup Also includes additional chances to score loot with three new Vault Cards. Once a Vault Card is activated, you will be able to earn XP by completing three Daily Challenges and one Multi-Tiered Weekly Challenge. With over 100 unique challenges, every day will be a surprise! Earn enough XP and you’ll unlock unique themed rewards. The first Vault map debuts today alongside the launch of Director’s Cup and includes gear and cosmetic items honoring some of Borderlands’ most beloved fallen heroes. Vault Hunters have a lot to look forward to, with the second and third Vault Maps debuting before the year is out.

Completing Vault Map challenges can also earn you a new in-game resource: Diamond Keys, which unlocks a room known as the Diamond Armory. Located below the upper deck of the Shrine Bridge, the Diamond Armory is filled to the brim with tantalizing loot. If you want to know more, go to borderlands.com for the full explainer. Note that Diamond keys can only be won through play and are not sold separately.

Borderlands 3 - Director's Cup

more to its loud gameplay and abundance of loot, Director’s Cup It’s also chock-full of behind-the-scenes content, including concept art, storyboards, cut content, bloopers, and more. Players can take a rare peek behind the curtain and see what a game looks like Borderlands 3 is done, with previews of never-before-seen content that can even answer a lingering question or two.

But that’s not all! Today also marks the arrival of the Disciples of the Vault Packs, a brand new set of Multiverse cosmetic packs. If you’ve ever wondered what the fate of each Vault Hunter would have been if they had joined the Vault Children, now you can see it for yourself. Disciples of the Vault packs feature completely new character models – not just skins – much like the Final Form cosmetic packs launched last fall. You can access Disciples of the Vault Packs by claiming Season Pass 2 or purchasing packs individually.

Whether or not you plan to pick up Director’s Cup, you can always enjoy two new useful machines, both free to all players. Crazy Earl’s Reroll allows you to replace the Anointing on an item in exchange for some Eridium (that rare purple element that you’ll find scattered across the galaxy). If you don’t know, Anointings appear on high level loot and enhance the unique abilities of Vault Hunters when that loot is used or equipped. By relaunching an anointing, you can make the perfect piece of equipment even more perfect for building your specific character. Be warned, though: Crazy Earl can choose the new Anointing, and there’s no turning back (although you can always pay to raise if you’re not happy).

Borderlands 3 - Director's Cup

And that’s all! Again, Director’s Cup is now available on Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S as part of Season Pass 2. You can also purchase the add-on separately, but either way you’ll need a copy of the base game to enjoy it. Director’s Cup. Now go out there and be among the first to conquer Hemovorous, solve these murders, and tackle the first Vault map.
