Suryakumar Yadav stressed the importance of being in a good free space before a game. The 30-year-old explained how a positive net session translates into a strong performance on match day.

“Yeah, obviously you have to be in a good space in the net session. I think the more you get out of the positive net session, the less you think in the game when you go out at bat. Or a bowl, whatever you do. So yes, I feel that the state of mind plays a big role. If you’re in a good space, a good area, nothing else matters, ”Suryakumar explained.
Suryakumar Yadav is not opposed to mental battles. The batsman has racked up more than 400 runs for three consecutive IPL seasons, patiently awaiting his national call. Although he terribly missed a place on several occasions, Suryakumar Yadav did not give up hope and continued to give his best.
The explosive batsman finally had his due in the recent India vs England T20I series. The batsman landed about 50 hits in his first innings and finished the streak with the highest hit rate of any batsman.

“The plan today is to continue to follow the routine that I have been doing for 2-3 years before a game. There is no secret. Keep it very simple. Don’t overcomplicate things. Just get out there, enjoy your time in the nets and the same also applies to the game, ”said Suryakumar.
Suryakumar Yadav appeared in good contact on Matchday 1 against RCB, scoring a quick 31 on 23 balls. Kyle Jamieson sent him back against the run of the game. He’ll look to work things out when he comes to bat on Tuesday.
