Target stores will sell $ 6 Animal crossing Amiibo card pack on March 26 which brings Hello Kitty to your island, including new villagers (not Hello Kitty itself, alas) and themed furniture. In a video, Nintendo also teased a Super Mario Bros. collaboration coming up with a free update in March.
So there will be a lot to do before the game’s first anniversary. This underscores Nintendo’s commitment to Animal crossing on the Switch, but could also be important when gaming is still a panacea for gamers stuck at home during the pandemic.
