Apple has started accepting applications for a new mentoring program that aims to help first-generation students. In one PDF obtained by MacRumors, the company details Launch @ Apple. The paper invites first-year and second-year college students majoring in finance, economics, accounting, or a discipline related to business, math, commerce, or data analysis to apply for the chance to get a one-on-one meeting with Apple mentors. The document states that these will also be twinning opportunities, as well as paid and external internships.

The program is limited to students who have a parent or guardian who has not completed their own college degree. The company is also looking for people “eager to learn how to work in finance in an innovative and rapidly changing environment”. Apple is accepting applications until Friday, January 8, 2021. To apply, students must answer 18 questions that cover topics such as their legal status in the United States, GPA and their aspirations, among other personal information.
