Bad boys for life

Bad Boys for Life features ridiculous, savage, and at times completely unbelievable action. The film aims to build the existing world of the franchise while providing moments of fan service, callbacks to classic characters, and a chance for stars Martin Lawrence and Will Smith to roll again. The action hits its breakneck pace in the third act and fully engages in all-out war, and while this probably isn’t the last time the Bad Boys roll, it would be a perfectly acceptable send off to a franchise of. action that still flies the flag for the old days of mainstream hit awards.

Birds of prey

Much like its central character, Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is a riot – an anarchic madness glitter bomb that has some of the most inventive fight sequences ever seen in a comic book movie. Her wacky energy and focus on Harley Quinn make her a stunning showcase for Margot Robbie, who commands the screen and gives her damaged protagonist all the dimension she deserves. In the skillful hands of producer / star Robbie, director Cathy Yan and writer Christina Hodson, Birds of Prey allows us to see Harley in her best light; a trickster goddess who undoubtedly creates more mess than she cleans up, but a goddess who is not perverse, despite years of being in the grip of her green haired puddin.

Extraction

The ripping works because its simple but sufficient story allows the action in the film to take center stage. If the stunt work was mediocre it would be a complete waste of time. Luckily, Extraction offers an extremely impressive showcase of expertly choreographed fists, knives, guns, and explosions. If you enjoyed the hard-hitting clashes between Bucky and Steve in the Captain America movies, you are going to love this movie.

Mulan

With sweeping scale, dramatic action, and a dynamic lead in Yifei Liu, Mulan Live from Disney surprisingly and above all effectively updates the original while maintaining the spirit of its predecessor, making it the remake of Most confident Disney to date.

The old guard

The Old Guard is a trite at first glance genre action flick that gets so much more once you dive in. Charlize Theron delivers an excellent performance as Andy, a hardened, flawed, and complicated character who leads a team of immortal mercenaries, each with their own intriguing stories stretching back hundreds of years. The fact that these immortal mercenaries use edged weapons from their time of origin with modern firearms adds a bit of flair to the action scenes – and the whole team fighting together is an absolute blast to watch.
