A Chinese court has sentenced 10 Hong Kong activists who were detained after fleeing Hong Kong by boat for between seven months and three years for illegally crossing the border, a court in the southern city of Shenzhen said Wednesday.
The court said the two who organized the crossing were sentenced to three years and two years respectively, while the others were sentenced to seven months in prison.
All 10 were also fined, the court said.
