Until now, wielding the Eye of Agamotto has been a privilege accorded only to the lucky few. But thanks to Hasbro, anyone can now become Sorcerer Supreme for just $ 50 As part of the Hasbro Pulse Fan Fest digital event, the company has revealed a life-size replica of Stephen Strange’s iconic magical artifact. The Eye of Agamotto is painstakingly recreated from the MCU’s designs and even features a luminous, removable time stone. Take a closer look at this awesome new collector’s item in the slideshow gallery below:
According to Hasbro, the accessory was designed using photo references and digital scans provided by
wonder Studios. It is designed to be as close to the original look and size as possible, although some modifications had to be made to accommodate the electronic components. Like Hasbro’s previous Infinity Gauntlet replica, the Eye of Agamotto features a weathered gold paint scheme designed to simulate metal construction. The goal is to make the replica as suitable for play as it is as a collector’s display piece. Like the real thing, the Eye of Agamotto can be worn as a necklace or placed on an included display base. A button on the top of the unit activates a compartment that reveals the luminous time stone inside the eye. This stone can even be removed and will stay glowing for about a minute before it is discharged. The Eye itself is powered by two AAA batteries and the Time Stone contains an internal rechargeable battery.
The Eye of Agamotto is priced at $ 49.99 and is currently slated for release in fall 2021. The set is available for preorder now for Hasbro Pulse Premium members, with general pre-orders open at 2 p.m. PT today. The Eye of Agamotto will also be available for pre-order via Amazon, Target and other retailers at that time. This isn’t the only big news from Hasbro Pulse Fan Fest. The company also unveiled a huge, voice-activated Optimus Prime toy which can transform automatically.
