First Five Dragon Age Comic Pack Available For Pre-Order

Must read

Dragon Age is a phenomenal RPG experience from BioWare that goes far beyond games. From an animated film starring a young Cassandra Pentaghast to comics and movies that amazingly bridge the gaps between our time in Thedas, the tradition of Dragon Age is really vast. If you haven’t watched the comics I highly recommend you change that and now BioWare offers an easy way to do that by offering a package with the franchise’s first five comic series.

Bundle includes 22 numbers in total, including Dragon Age: The Silent Grove, Those Who Speak, Until We Sleep, Magekiller and Knight Errant. It doesn’t include the most recent series starring Fenris with Blue Wraith, but this set offers a great way for fans to delve into a much deeper narrative beyond becoming the Guardian, Champion, and Inquisitor. .

Personally, I cannot recommend the comics and books highly enough. The novels in particular add an extra layer of nuance to the games themselves, especially when it comes to Inquisition with characters like Cole, Rhys, Fiona, and Empress Celene. That being said, the comics offer a similar broad experience as well, with The Silent Grove, Those Who Speak and Until We Sleep in particular bringing a new story of a crowned Alistair, Varric and Isabelle as they leave. on the adventure of a lifetime. discover a dark secret about his father, the Morrigan siblings, and see Tevinter in a whole new way. These comics also featured one of my favorite characters from the franchise: Maeveris Tilani, cousin of Varric (II and Inquisition) and close friend of Dorian (Inquisition).

Mage Killer and Knight Errant deliver an even more Tevinter-centric experience while also showcasing cameos from the Chargers and Dorian himself, as well as new protagonists to fall in love with that continue in Knight Errant and Blue Wraith.

With the recently confirmed new series bringing Fenris in the spotlight again, it’s honestly a good deal for those who want to read the Dragon Age comics but don’t know where to start.

While the BioWare Store listing is out of print currently for $ 30, other retailers like Target and Amazon still have pre-orders available. You can also do what I did and call your local comic book store and ask if they have any preorders or make a special request.
