League of Legends Indiana color broadcaster and analyst “Froskurinn” Black has decided to step down from the LEC broadcast team before spring 2021.
Froskurinn previously announced that she the contract with Riot Games had ended. It looks like she won’t be renewing the contract for Season 11.
This is an independent tweet, team. I am looking for work – as I always am – as a freelance writer.

While LEC fans were hoping Froskurinn would return to the professional League of Legends cast for one more season, a recent announcement from him has solidified the matter. Froskurinn will not return in 2021.
I have decided not to re-sign with LEC for the 2021 season. I cannot reveal the next steps yet, but I have always wanted to move on to management and development positions. I wish the LEC broadcast, teams and fans the best. I really loved it there.

Froskurinn’s departure is a great loss for the LEC broadcast team
Excited to see what you cook next. Esports needs more creative minds like you in development and in senior positions. ✌

The LEC broadcast team boasts one of the most original and innovative cast and analyst groups on the League of Legends professional circuit.
Froskurinn has been instrumental in making the European League of Legends incredibly exciting. Its cast of colors gave the matches a unique flavor that kept fans coming back for more.
His synergy with fellow game pitcher Daniel “Drakos” Drakos is something to see. LEC fans will miss the duo as Spring Split 2021 approaches.
Froskurinn started her casting career in the Chinese LPL where she made a name for herself before moving to Europe in 2019.
His plan to leave the broadcast team is pretty much a reminder of Chris “PapaSmithy” Smith’s decision to quit the cast of LCK and join 100Thieves as coach and manager.
Welcome Chris Smith (@PapaSmithy), our new General Manager of League of Legends!
Previously caster LCK for over 4 years, Chris is one of the industry’s most respected analyst / commentator. We are excited to bring it to NA and look forward to building more for 100T LoL. # 100T pic.twitter.com/5ixH4Gm1uQ

Froskurinn may be considering something similar. But nothing has yet been formalized.
