It’s not great that customers have to get the job done to fix an issue that should never have happened, but at least we’re only weeks away from getting the 4K HDR experience we’ve been waiting for. Otherwise, the special features and included booklet are awesome and worth checking out $ 37.99 price, but only if the tracking disc corrects Akira HDR problem missing.

For those of you who would like to request the 4K HDR version of AKIRA, please send an email to akira4kreplacement@funimation.com (US / CA) or akira4kreplacementUK@funimation.com (UK / IRE) with “AKIRA 4K” as subject, and indicate your name, postal address, e-mail address and proof of purchase (receipt or confirmation e-mail and photo of the disc).
If you are unable to provide a receipt or confirmation email as proof of purchase, you will be asked to send your current disc to Funimation. So don’t worry if you get the AKIRA 4K Limited Edition for Christmas, you can always upgrade your drive!
