Godzilla vs Kong: IGN readers picked the best giant movie monster

To celebrate the epic Godzilla vs. Kong trailer, we asked you to help us decide who is the best giant movie monster ever. After thousands upon thousands of 1v1 battles with matches like Godzilla vs. Kong and King Ghidorah against Rodan, the ultimate winner has been chosen. So who won first place in the battle for the ultimate giant movie monster? Drum roll please …

With a 94.4% win percentage, the MonsterVerse’s Godzilla claimed victory in 14,557 of his 15,421 battles.

While some may have thought King Kong would take second place, the Monkey King was only able to climb to fifth place with a respectable 81.1% win percentage.

King Ghidorah from Godzilla: King of the Monsters actually took second place with an 88.5% win percentage, followed by Godzilla from Heisei Era and Godzilla from Millennium Era. The top 10 was completed by Godzilla from Reiwa Era, the original King Ghidorah, Godzilla from Showa Era, Godzilla: Rodan from King of the Monsters and SpaceGodzilla.

The Giant Bird of The Giant Claw took last place with just a 15.1% win percentage. The Ants on their part, the Monsters of the Monsters of 2010, the minilla of the son of Godzilla, the attack of Nancy from the 50 foot woman and the host complete it all.
