Google is introduction a new feature to help you find more information about the websites that appear when you use its search engine. If you live in the United States, starting today you will start to see a three dot icon next to each search result. By tapping on any of these, whether you are on mobile or desktop, a description of the website is at the other end of the link.

In most cases, this information will come from Wikipedia, unless Google directs you to one of its services, in which case you will get blurb on how it got its data. In cases where neither is available, you get basic information about the website, such as when it was first indexed. In any case, there will be a note if your connection to the website is secure via HTTPS.
