Zero Dawn on PC at a slower pace as they work on the game’s sequel.
In an article on the Guerrilla website, Guerrilla announced that patch 1.10 is now available for Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition on PC, which “introduces crash fixes and performance improvements.” Guerrilla also said that more updates will be coming to the PC version, but the focus is more on Horizon Forbidden West.
“As our team continues to develop our upcoming Horizon Forbidden West title, we are moving to less frequent updates for Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition for PC after this patch,” the statement read. “Please note that we will continue to monitor our community spaces as always!”Horizon Zero Dawn launched on PC in August 2020, three years after its initial PS4 release in 2017. The PC port received praise for its visual improvements, but performance issues were common. IGN Analysis of a Preliminary Version of the Horizon PC Port commented on how some of the graphics options are “actively detrimental to performance or perceived fluidity in non-obvious ways”.
Guerrilla has since released several fixes for the PC port. Sure Steam, recent reviews over the past 30 days are “very positive” with over 2,000 submissions.

Horizon Forbidden West is one of the biggest games to come in 2021 and should launch on PS5 and PS4, similar to Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Unfortunately, there is no official announcement regarding a PC version for Horizon Forbidden West at this time.
