Hitman 3 PC players can now import Hitman 1 and 2 levels if they have them

Must read

Hitman 3 PC players can now import Hitman levels 1 and 2 at no additional cost if they already own one of the first two games in the World of Assassination trilogy. Developer IO Interactive shared the news with a Location Import Guide, Noting that all players must do to unlock these other levels, log into their IOI account and make sure their platform accounts that own the games (i.e. Steam and The Epic Games Store ) are also linked.

It’s an ongoing problem for PC gamers due to the fact that Hitman 3 is exclusive to The Epic Games Store. While the original Hitman is also available on this digital storefront, Hitman 2 is still only on Steam. This meant there was no way to prove you owned Hitman 2 prior to this new import procedure.IO Interactive has shared some important points to consider before starting this process, and they are as follows;

  • Check all of your choices before claiming content. They cannot be canceled or canceled.
  • The content you claim will be an “Access Pass DLC”. For example, if you own HITMAN 2, you can apply for the HITMAN 2 Access Pass. It’s so simple.
  • Once you have claimed an Access Pass, restart HITMAN 3 to access the corresponding content. (There is no code to use.)
  • We recommend using a PC browser, the location import site is not fully optimized for mobile browsers.

Hitman 3 – All In-Game Locations

To compensate for some frustrations, IO Interactive made The Hitman 1 GOTY Access Pass is free to all PC gamers who have pre-purchased Hitman 3 or purchased the game within the first ten days of release. Now those who own the previous games will be able to play in older locations with all the improvements that come with this new title.

Luckily for console gamers, this has never been a problem and location import has been available since launch.
