What’s the old saying? Root for wounds? If you shoot for such events during games that you don’t like, then you kind of got your wish on Friday night.
First, an explaining: Former MLB star Jose Canseco, 56, was in a pay-per-view boxing match against a 21-year-old Barstool Sports intern nicknamed Billy Football. The build of the fight was Canseco and the cowardly talkers exchanging insults. Canseco tried to sell the idea that he was a crusader against corporate rudeness.
Then the night of combat occurred and Canseco perhaps, a little, in a way plunged.
He went to the canvas 10 seconds after the start of the fight after absorbing a series of punches, including one illegal at the limit. Eventually, Canseco knelt down, grimaced and then grabbed his right shoulder, claiming he was injured. He told the referee he couldn’t continue. (He later said he had injured his shoulder months earlier.)

So the referee had to stop a fight that was the main attraction of the West Virginia Rough N ‘Rowdy PPV card.
If for some reason you bet on this fight, you weren’t hurt.
We have already voided all bets on Jose Canceso at RnR 13. All bets on Billy Football will be classified as a win.

(Who is “Canceso”?)
Canseco predicted a first round knockout during the hype. We thought he said he would deliver the knockout.
