LeBron James will soon have a new piece to his GOAT argument: his inevitable victory over the stars of computerized basketball in “Space Jam: A New Legacy”, more affectionately known as “Space Jam 2.”
The plot summary for the new movie “Space Jam” was released on Monday as part of a link with Microsoft and Xbox. In the original film, Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny had to fight aliens. In the new one, James gets stuck in a digital space and essentially has to beat a video game.

In this film, basketball champion and global icon LeBron James embarks on an epic adventure alongside the timeless Tune Bugs Bunny. When James and his young son Dom – who dreams of becoming a video game developer – are trapped in a digital space by a rogue AI, James must get them home safely while leading Bugs, Lola Bunny and the entire Looney gang. Notoriously unruly tunes to victory over digitized AI champions on the court: a roster of basketball stars like you’ve never seen them before.

The new film promotes a link with Microsoft and Xbox that allows fans to submit their own ideas for a “Space Jam: A New Legacy” video game. Two winning ideas will be selected for creation in aracde style games.
The 2019 reports highlighted some of the computerized stars that James will have to fight against. the the list includes James’ Lakers teammate Anthony Davis with Chris Paul, Klay Thompson, Damian Lillard and Diana Taurasi. Considering that Thompson and Lillard are already shooting like they’re playing a video game, it’s scary to think of how hard they’ll shoot in a movie plot that is like beating a real video game.
“Space Jam: a new legacy” is slated for release on July 16, 2021, both in theaters and on HBO Max in the US by Warner Bros. Pictures.
