When appearing on The Joe Rogan experience podcast, Derrick Lewis reflected on victory from behind and said Joe rogan that the reaction from the fans in attendance made this effort more valuable to him than anything else.

My manager at home, he passed out. He couldn’t take it anymore either. So everyone was so excited about it. Some policemen were called because of my neighbors, some fans went so crazy after this fight. I got it when my coaches said we had a minute, 30 seconds left.
