New Vassar, MIT’s new undergraduate dormitory, opened in January across from the Henry Steinbrenner Stadium and Track in an effort to promote a healthy and balanced lifestyle. the 450 bed residence emphasizes four core values chosen by the group of its founders: well-being, inclusion, adventure and kindness. Dining options will eventually include a cooking capsule program that will allow students to learn from a chef in the dormitory’s community kitchen.
