The NFC East is still up for grabs between three teams. Two teams can still claim the AFC South. Only the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have so far secured a wild card spot in this extended playoffs of 14 teams, seven from each conference. 2. Washington tie AND Cowboys win

Dallas Cowboys (6-9)

Dallas is eliminated from the playoffs with:

1. Loss of cowboys OR
2. Cowboys tie AND Washington tie
3. OR Washington wins

New York Giants (5-10)

(against Cowboys)

New York is eliminated from the playoffs with:

1. Defeat or tie of the giants
2. Washington wins or draws

Los Angeles Rams (9-6)

Los Angeles is eliminated from the playoffs with:

1. Rams lose and bears win

Chicago Bear (8-7)

Chicago is eliminated from the playoffs with:

1. Loss of bear AND victory or tie for the Cardinals OR
