The days of CBS All Access are numbered … at least in name. ViacomCBS has revealed this Paramount +, its expansion and rebranding of All Access, will launch in the US on March 4. The streaming service will arrive in the Nordic countries on March 25, Australia in mid-2021 and Canada later this year (although Canadians will see the rebranding right away).
Paramount + is finally an offer to compete with NBCUniversal Peacock, Disney +, HBO Max and other network-oriented rivals. Where All Access was originally focused on the CBS and Internet originals only, the new offering includes shows from a ViacomCBS channel host as well as the Paramount Film Library. In theory, you’ll have a reason to subscribe beyond just following the latest Star Trek series.
