Samsung is apparently working on a follow-up to the Galaxy Chromebook it released earlier this year. And based on a photo leak by Evan Blass (aka evleaks), it looks pretty much like its predecessor with a few minor differences: Samsung reorganized its ports a bit and made sure it was the same color all around. If you take a look at our review of the Galaxy Chromebook 1, you will see that the old orange model had silver edges, while the new one has a solid orange color.
While the next Chromebook really does look nearly identical to the first, whether or not it’s worth it depends on its specs and prices. The first Galaxy Chromebook costs $ 999 and is one of the more expensive options you can get if you buy a Chrome OS-powered laptop from Google. There are plenty of decent Chromebooks out there that cost around half the price or less – those from Google Pixelbook Go will cost you “only” $ 650.
