The revamped Robot Care is more of a personal assistant and a companion. Using AI, it can “take care of all the little details of your life,” Sebastian Seung, director of Samsung Research, said during a presentation. The company claims that Bot Care will recognize and understand your behaviors and offer reminders. This could, for example, make you stand up and stretch your legs if he thinks you’ve been at your computer for too long. Bot Care can also connect you to conference calls with its convenient built-in screen.

Samsung is currently testing these robots and it has not said if or when you can get your hands on them. However, he showed another machine that US residents should actually be able to buy in the first half of this year.

The JetBot 90 AI + vacuum uses LiDAR and 3D sensors to determine the optimal cleaning path. Samsung says it can navigate cables and small items while making sure it gets into hard-to-reach areas of your home. You can also use it as a home surveillance device via its camera and SmartThings integration.
