Danzaburou, the legendary Tanuki, is the new god to join HitJapanese Hall of Fame – now available on Xbox One!
This trickster is ready to bring godly shenanigans to the battlefield. With a smirk and a big belly, Danazburou is a cheerful bake-danuki, supernatural and legendary tanuki, who wears tricks up his sleeve and a rocket launcher in his back pocket. The team wanted to create a fun creature with a devious and wise guy personality. Danzaburou plays the comic relief in Hit during the dark season, the knowledge brought by Cthulhu.
Danzaburou’s kit emphasizes its trickster theme. He deploys explosive bags of money, takes sips from his sake bottle, and transforms into leaf among decoy leaves to escape his enemies. And, as I mentioned before, he has a rocket launcher! Danzaburou will summon a magical leaf that will transform into a large bamboo rocket, damaging enemy gods. Danzaburou is a fun and explosive character, and I can’t wait to see some amazing pieces from the community.
This update will also include Danzaburou’s first skin: Don Zaburou Danzaburou. It will be available in the Smite Friends event. This event will celebrate Hitmany friendships like Ymir and Danzaburou who just happen to be brand new besties. By purchasing the skins during the event, you will also receive a gift token to send a gift to a friend in Hit, just in time for the holidays!
