Hi Outlanders,
It has been a long time! We hope you had a wonderful holiday and celebrated New Years Eve with your loved ones. Hopefully 2021 turns out to be a safer, healthier, and much more normal year. It was a crazy race last year, and we don’t plan to slow down this year either. However, there are some improvements to be made to Vigor, but we’ll talk about that later.
So ok. To the new season!
Season 7: Mercenaries
We always want to know what you like. And when we asked what you would like to see in Vigor last time the majority of you mentioned that you aspire to more military cosmetics. So we did our best to offer more. We are very happy to introduce you to the Mercenaries!
These Outlanders were fighting for money. Now they have come together to continue their dominance as a unit of highly skilled professionals. Their signature gear consists of balaclavas, military gas masks, emblems on their caps and camouflage face paint. They also bring new additions to your arsenal, including the La Chiave 12 shotgun and the M60E3 machine gun. Like every season, you can equip yourself with shiny new titles and brag about your lobbies skills.
We called it “Operation Health”!
As you go through this Xbox Wire article, you’ll probably notice that there aren’t as many new features as usual. Once again, it is mainly thanks to you! We have decided to take action and address some pressing issues that some of you have brought to our attention.
The biggest problem revolved around a lack of memory. So, the men and women on our team have been working diligently on optimizing memory, which we hope will improve the various crashes and disconnects you may have encountered.
Our next challenge was cards like Fiske Fabrikk. We know you missed Fiske, but we had to remove it for a short time so that we could make improvements. Well, we’re delighted to announce that our mission has been crowned with success, and that Fiske Fabrikk is back on rotation!
The small delay was also caused by a longer testing period. We wanted to make sure we gave you the quality you deserve. Although we are a group of passionate developers, we are also a relatively small team, which is why some actions may take longer than you would expect from large studios. So a huge thank you to all of you for your unwavering patience!
News?
Okay, but what’s the news, you ask? Well, we thought it would be exciting to spice up the Meetings a bit. Therefore, we introduce opening outputs. This means that some of the exits must now be open before you can leave the encounter. And you can also lock some exits behind you so other Outlanders can’t exit as quickly. This new detail changes the exit strategies a bit and we can’t wait to hear your feedback!
We also decided to give Shootout a little love. The team has changed the selection of guns in Shootout crates. While this might seem like a small change, we think it will be a good idea. Another weapon related thing is that you can now equip the weapon you selected with ammo in the vault. Cool, right?
Last, but not least, a new threat is coming with the Mercenaries. They don’t want to see Outlander camping out in a bush the entire game. This means that anyone who stays in one place for too long risks being bombarded by a mortar strike.

We’re really excited about all the cool things we plan to bring to the Outlands. Attack our social media and drop your ideas for the game.
