Under the new rules, Twitch has made sexual harassment a separate category and “adopted a much lower tolerance for objectifying or harassing behavior.” Specifically, the following actions are prohibited: repeatedly commenting on a person’s attractiveness when they have indicated their discomfort verbally or through timeouts and channel bans; make explicit comments about a person’s sexuality or physical appearance, even if they are a public figure; and share unsolicited nude pictures or videos.
