US President Donald Trump, on vacation in Florida, finally signed a $ 2.3 trillion financial package that is crucial for millions of unemployed Americans as he has come under pressure from lawmakers.
The White House confirmed he signed the bill shortly after he tweeted, “Good news on Covid Relief Bill. Information to follow. He did not immediately elaborate.
Trump, who was pictured playing golf at his Mar-a-Lago resort over Christmas weekend, had been under pressure lawmakers on both sides to stop blocking pandemic aid and the government funding bill that was approved by Congress last week.
