From now on, Guard dogs: Legion gives players a new way to free London: teaming up with other DedSec agents in a four-player open-world co-op. Available Now as a Free Update for Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One, Watch Dogs: Legion Online The mode takes place separately from the single player campaign and takes place after the events of the campaign (without spoilers). Here, players build a new DedSec cell by recruiting anyone they see in the open world – this time with a faster system using influence points earned – then freely explore London and take on new missions alongside other agents.
From the open world, players will be able to embark on a series of cooperative missions specially designed for up to four players. They can also dive into shorter side activities or face off against PvP competitions in the Spiderbot arena for four to eight players, where armed spider robots fight in dynamic, free-to-play deathmatch arenas. And starting March 23, they’ll be able to take on higher-stakes Tactical Operations Missions, which are end-game challenges that require at least three players and require constant communication and teamwork.
In addition to Watch Dogs: Legion Online mode, today also brings two new single player DLC missions for Guard dogs: Legion Season Pass holders. In “Guardian Protocol”, DedSec discovers an algorithm that could allow AI to override human decisions, potentially turning armed drones into autonomous killing machines. And in “Not In Our Name,” agents will follow and confront a group of hackers who use DedSec’s name to steal blackmail information for a tabloid owner.
