Drew McIntyre returned to WWE TV this week after testing positive for COVID-19 and being forced into quarantine a few weeks ago. Luckily for the WWE Champion, he recovered in time to defend his title at the Royal Rumble tomorrow night against Goldberg, but that won’t be the case for Reckoning (Mia Yim).

It is not known if the RETRIBUTION member was scheduled to be part of the Women’s Royal Rumble match, but the former NXT star recently revealed that she has tested positive for COVID-19 and will no longer be able to participate.

Yim confirmed the news on his Twitter account. She said she had been tested multiple times and even refuted rumors she had the virus earlier today before actually testing positive.

Yim asked the WWE Universe to respect his privacy and stay safe by washing his hands and wearing a mask.

Mia Yim’s career as Reckoning on WWE’s main roster

It has been a difficult few months for Reckoning since being promoted to the main roster as a member of RETRIBUTION. The group was booked in a strange way by the creators of WWE.

Reckoning was able to play his first singles match on RAW a few weeks ago against Dana Brooke. However, she lost her mask and was subsequently put down by RETRIBUTION chief Mustafa Ali.

The Women’s Royal Rumble could have breathed new life into Reckoning and allowed her to resume a new feud on RAW, but now she will be forced into quarantine.

Mustafa Ali is still set to be a part of the next men’s Royal Rumble match, but it is not known if any of the other three members of RETRIBUTION will be in attendance.
