Balarok’s Revenge: Spirits of Umbrus is now live on Xbox One!
Greetings to all of our magicians, mages and magical people of Ignus, the day has finally come. The next epic chapter of the Citadel Scrolls is now live – but wait! That’s not all. The always-awaited Barklock Rewards and Quality of Life update has also been added. There is a lot to discover, don’t let the mysteries wait!
New World: Umbrus
Amid the shadows, eerie magic slowly seeped into Ignus. Not much is known, but reports have been circulating and it seems the cultists have done nothing right. How are you going to access this new world? Follow in the footsteps of black magic to HealthClyffe, a portal to this new world is accessible there; but a fair warning to all magic users to exercise caution as this realm is riddled with dark arts, only the strong will persevere.
All New Summoning Essence
We’ve asked our community to vote on what essence they would like to see in Citadel, and we’re happy to announce that Summoning Essence is now ready to be mastered! Sharpen your wands and pull out your spell books to learn what it takes to master the art of summoning.
New spells:
- Summon Aggressive: depending on the strength of the caster, summons a mystical ally
- Summon the mount: Based on the caster’s strength, summons a mountable mystical creature
- Summon disciples: Instantly summons all tamed creatures that must “follow” the caster’s position
- Summon Party: Instantly summons all players in the caster’s party to the caster’s location
- Revive: thrown on a fresh corpse to revive the deceased creature
- Summon the turret: Summon a turret at the impact location to automatically fight nearby enemies
We have listened to the community, in addition to the new summoning essence, we have created a new storage of mastery level creatures so that you can house more tame. Undiscovered creatures are strewn across Umbrus; you may be the first to meet them and tame a new companion.
The cave of evil
It’s no surprise that a great evil is brewing in Umbrus, and with it comes the final dungeon: The Cave of Evil. Only the most powerful mages and wizards are able to face these ferocious creatures that lurk deep within them. Remember to cross with caution as these battles will not be easy, but all who succeed will be rewarded with glorious riches.

We’ve also introduced a few new Xbox Servers that have Throne Range restrictions that aim to make raids more balanced.
