Sonic Colors Remaster Leaked By Voiceover Studio

Must read

A remaster of Sonic colors was apparently leaked by a German voiceover studio. As discovered by the Twitter account Gum | Kupo, German voice-over studio iksample had a listing for Sonic Colors Remastered, detailing that the studio had been working on localizing the game in December 2020. You can see a screenshot of the listing in the tweet below, although since this post iksample has been removed the page from its website.

Sega hasn’t officially announced a Sonic Colors remaster, so this seems like the first indication the project may be in the works. And, if the project is real, it seems reasonable to predict that it could have a German location, given iksample’s location.

In addition, French game retailer Sogamely currently offers a pre-order page for Sonic Colors Ultimate for PS4. As leaks such as infamous Walmart drop before E3 2018 show, retailers can be notified in advance of unannounced games. But retailers can and do wrong. As such, it’s worth waiting for any official announcements before assuming that a Sonic Colors remaster is definitely in the works.Sonic Colors was released in 2010 for Wii and Nintendo DS. Our opinion at the time, was impressed, calling it “the best Sonic game in 18 years”. If you prefer the live action of your blue hedgehog, you’ll be happy to hear about the movie’s sequel, Sonic the hedgehog 2.
