Dustin Poirier claimed that Conor McGregor did not pay the pledged donation to the Good Fight Foundation.

Ahead of their highly anticipated rematch at UFC 257 (January 2021), Conor McGregor had pledged to donate $ 500,000 to Dustin Poirier’s charity. However, Poirier has now taken to his official Twitter account and claimed McGregor has yet to make the donation.

The consensus in the MMA world was that Conor McGregor and his team would likely have kept their promise and already made the donation. However, according to Dustin Poirier, McGregor and his team stopped responding after their fight against UFC 257 in January.

The first bout between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier was contested at featherweight and took place at UFC 178 (September 2014). McGregor won this fight via TKO in the first round.

The rematch between The Notorious One and The Diamond was played at lightweight and took place at UFC 257 (January 2021). This time Poirier won via TKO in the second round.

In the months that followed, UFC Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier struck a deal for a trilogy fight between the two stars. The UFC recently confirmed that McGregor and Poirier will face each other in their trilogy match at UFC 264 (July 10, 2021).

Ahead of their respective preparations for their all-important trilogy fight, Conor McGregor recently took to Instagram. to provide his prediction on the course of the fight.

“The prediction is made! I will win the trilogy fight via A Front Kick on the nose. Round number 4. Her nose needs to straighten out and I have rhinoplasty.”

Dustin Poirier apparently responded to the prediction provided by Conor McGregor. As of this writing, McGregor has yet to respond to Poirier’s claims.

Currently, Charles Oliveira and Michael Chandler are set to fight for the vacant UFC lightweight title at UFC 262 (May 15, 2021). The winner of this fight will be crowned as the new UFC lightweight champion.

Meanwhile, the winner of the Dustin Poirier trilogy fight against Conor McGregor at UFC 264 (July 10, 2021) is expected to receive a UFC lightweight title shot against winner Oliveira-Chandler.
