The scenario between Karrion kross and NXT Cruiserweight champion Santos Escobar has been building for weeks now. Tonight the two were supposed to step into the ring and settle their differences. But now it looks like the match is no longer going.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, tonight’s match between Kross and Escobar has been removed from tonight’s episode.
There is no reasoning as to why the match is not taking place or if and when it will be postponed. There have been reports in recent times, Kross has been quickly added to the main roster. It is possible that the two things are related, but nothing is confirmed at this time.
Karrion Kross argued with Legado Del Fantasma on WWE NXT
Kross and Scarlett have been arguing with Legado Del Fantasma on WWE NXT for several weeks now. When the game was officially confirmed there was quite a buzz surrounding the game. It was a unique pairing that we had never seen before on NXT.
With the match underway, it will be interesting to see if WWE provides any reasoning on the storyline or if they ignore it entirely.
The only confirmed match for WWE NXT tonight is Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart who team up to take on The Way’s Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell. It will be the black and gold mark to complete tonight’s show.
