There are two voice assistants locked in a tussle over who controls your home’s smart speakers: Amazon’s Alexa and Google Assistant. We prefer Google. Its assistant answers questions more precisely, it has a simpler configuration process and connects to a growing number of smart home devices. All of the devices below have Google Assistant built-in, so you can ask it whatever you search Google for or have it control smart home products like robot vacuum cleaners, smart sockets, lights, and Televisions.
