In episode 7 we learned that Agatha Harkness by Kathryn Hahn, who was in high-profile hiding as neighbor Agnes, was working on some evil witchcraft behind the scenes in Wanda’s sitcom world. This week, however, Wanda’s control and creation of the hex was reconfirmed as we discovered that Agatha was simply an intruder, drawn to Wanda’s power and working secretly to find out how and why the throwing skills of Wanda’s spells were so powerful, and unlike anything to her. d never seen.
Agatha, a witch who was rejected and humiliated hundreds of years ago by her clan (led by her own mother) for seeking forbidden knowledge, apparently feeds on the life force of other magical beings. But is this his plan for Wanda? Or the spawn of Wanda’s Hex, Billy and Tommy? At the moment, she seems more interested in the origins of Wanda’s witching powers (which were local and in fact amplified by the Mind Stone) and how Wanda could be the mythical “Scarlet Witch” of the supernatural tradition of the world centered on Salem d’Agatha.
“Previously On” was both a reflection on grief – and how it really was Wanda’s crushing pain that led her to retreat to a sitcom realm and create a vision inspired by Dick Van’s Rob Petrie. Dyke – and a “This is Your Life” flashback to scenes that previously only existed offscreen (as the MCU movies were a bit too crowded to do full justice to the story of Wanda and Vision). Next week’s finale, which could go on for even longer than this chapter, will conclude Wanda’s story for the time being while hopefully providing a closure on Agatha, Vision, Hayward’s New “Cataract” Vision, Monica’s powersand the Hex. There is a lot to deal with, for sure. Will we have a happy or tragic ending? “It’s not that kind of show,” Wanda told Vision after Age of Ultron when Vision worried about Bryan Cranston’s father’s fate on Malcom in the Middle.

Theory: The Hexes on Spider-Man: Impossible Whiteboard at Home … does that mean anything?
The theories were fervently pitched a few days ago, in fact, when Marvel officially announced the title of Spider-Man 3 – which is “No Way Home”. Fans of busy jokey idea boards have been shown that there are a few hexagons, which can hardly seem random these days, considering how much attention WandaVision has given to this shape.
With Wanda Maximoff appearing in Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, while Strange himself will appear before this movie in No Way Home, it stands to reason that the hexes are connected to Wanda’s magic, then Wanda’s magic will connect. one way or another directly to cracking. open of the multiverse.
Theory: Agatha’s mother is / was Zhered-Na
As we search the Marvel Universe for thick magic books that are do not the Darkhold (since this book was a major piece of story on Agents of SHIELD and looks different than the one in Agatha’s Basement), some fans have wondered if WandaVisions’ spellbook was the Tome of Zhered- Na, which is another magically powerful collection of pages.
And if so, maybe it means that Agatha’s mother, who killed Agatha when she was being punished for trying to learn magic that was beyond her post, could have been the ancient Atlantean witch Zhered-Na. All in all, that’s probably not a crux of the plot, but a lot of WandaVision’s good-humored speculation involves finding Marvel lore and hidden characters.
Theory: Agatha pushed Wanda to have children
Are Billy and Tommy Agatha the personal endgame of Billy and Tommy Agatha here or is she just holding them hostage right now because that’s the only way she can have an edge over the more powerful Wanda?
From the Salem flashback scene, we know that Agatha can feed off the energy of other magic users, but is she too wary to do it with Wanda? Or does she want to put Wanda on her side and become allies with her? Partly it would make sense for Agatha to have wanted Wanda to have children, so maybe she could rush in and steal them and use them in her own creations, but are the beings that Wanda creates with Chaos Magic? really real?
It seems so. Like really real. For real.
While Agatha’s behind-the-scenes ploys involved trying to ruffle Wanda’s feathers into breaking up the character and pulling away from the sitcom-a-thon, her on-screen antics involved a lot of encouragement to procreation – while asking Wanda if she had children to help Wanda learn to “seduce” Vision before a special night out. We’ll have to wait until next week to see how the twins play a role in everything.
Recurring Theory: One Way Or Another Will Help Retcon’s Mutants In The MCU
Even though the X-Men won’t be arriving in the MCU for a little while, there are theories as to how the Hexagon could be a catalyst for the “M” word that Marvel couldn’t use before: Mutants. Especially when we found out that Monica’s DNA had been scrambled and changed as she traveled through Hex energy.
This week, however, we learned that Wanda was born with powers. Directly. And that witches exist, who are also born with these abilities. Magic that until now you only go to secret magic school to learn (and was open to everyone, not just those genetically predisposed to witchcraft). Now we know that there are natural witches. And, man, if you pair one with the Mind Stone, you’ve got an almighty Chaos Magic welder, able to rewrite reality as we know it.
Back in the days when Marvel Television was in full swing, and not closed and integrated with Marvel Studios, it created its own version of mutants using Inhumans. And the idea that some individuals had powers that could be awakened. In the case of Agents of SHIELD – Terrigen Mist.
Here however, it would seem that the latent powers, which would have been “dead on the vine,” according to Agatha, were brought about by the energy of the Infinity Stone. Does that mean all of Earth now has people with powers after the Blip? Considering how much Infinity Sauce is in the air after Thanos? Are they what we will call mutants?
And was Pietro a mutant too, with speedster powers that were brought to the surface by the Mind Stone?
Theory: White ‘cataract’ vision will help bring OG vision back to life
Tyler Hayward’s version of Vision, which, if it follows that storyline from the comics, is more of an emotionless being than Vision’s original recipe was, could be the way to bring Vision back to life in the MCU. Not that the World Vision sitcom isn’t real, but it can’t get through that pesky Hex barrier. Project Cataract Vision can certainly do that, maybe that’s how Wanda’s love brings Westview out in one piece.
Of course, it’s also possible that Vision will make the ultimate sacrifice, once again, as is kind of in his nature. We rush into this final without knowing whether we are heading for triumph or tragedy. Hopefully … it’s a good mix of the two?
Question: Can we find out more about Monica’s “engineer” or Agatha’s “husband Ralph”?
WandaVision feels so drunk now that it feels unfair for the only episode left to have to introduce someone new, whether it’s a big secret evil looking after everything (Mephisto, Dormammu, Chthon, etc.) or “the Monica’s invisible “aerospace engineer (Reed Richards, Amadeus Cho, etc.).
Of course, if this happens, it shouldn’t take up too much space. That’s what the average credit scenes are for, right?
Question: Are we going to find out something about Jimmy’s secret witness?
SWORD was initially called in to assist the FBI because Jimmy Woo went to Westview to search for a missing witness from the witness protection program. It was then that Jimmy discovered that Westview had been, basically, removed from the game board by Wanda. Will this witness ever come back into play or was it just some sort of throwaway piece used to make us history? Jimmy never mentioned his witness when the true identities of the townspeople were extracted and displayed.
Question: Does Wanda also create the ads?
The simplest answer to this question is “yes”, right?
But the commercials on the show have always stood out because they depict Wanda’s secret pain flowing through. Why would she create a bewitched dream world, based on her love of sitcoms, but then make commercial clippings that captioned her so loudly?
Plus, some of them, like the Nexus One, hint at things Wanda isn’t even actively familiar with. Again. Unless in his trapped psyche is the knowledge of everything (because of the Mind Stone). Remember how this gave her a glimpse into the Scarlet Witch costume when she was on a HYDRA experience?
Regardless, the ads have always looked like infamous bullets in Wanda’s giant paradise presentation.
