Looks like The Dark Order # 99 is on the mend. Anna jay announced on social media earlier today that she had just recovered from shoulder surgery.
Jay’s injury was announced by AEW in February ahead of her scheduled match in the AEW Women’s Championship Elimination Tournament against Dr. Britt baker DMD
Despite having just come out of surgery with a long road to recovery ahead of her, Anna Jay’s tweet this afternoon was positive, giving fans an update on her condition after the surgery.
“Hi everyone 🙂 I just got out of my shoulder surgery, and everything is fine. For the next couple of days, I will probably sleep and only eat ice cream and soup. AEW’s Anna Jay is expected to be away for six to 12 months due to injury
AEW has announced that Anna Jay could be off for six to 12 months depending on her recovery time from the shoulder injury.
It will be a big blow to Jay and The Dark Order and AEW fans are hoping she makes a quick recovery. For now, it looks like Maki Itoh and Tay Conti will replace her and work alongside The Dark Order.
Several members of the AEW list sent their best wishes to Anna Jay on Twitter after her surgery.
