Airbnb.org will partner with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and Community Organized Relief Effort (CORE). He pledged 400,000 Airbnb shares to support Airbnb.org, and co-founders Joe Gebbia, Brian Chesky, and Nate Blecharczyk also pledged an additional donation of $ 6 million.

In addition to the initial commitments of $ 2 million to CORE and the IFRC, Airbnb.org will also commit $ 1 million over the next two years to cover the stays of IFRC staff and volunteers. CORE says it will use the contribution to fund stays for COVID-19 workers who must administer tests, perform contact tracing, provide flu shots, coordinate support for quarantine and those traveling to the vaccine distribution centers.

According to Airbnb, hosts who support Airbnb.org in this way will receive a special badge on their profile to recognize their good deed.
